@oncor It’s almost 1pm come on now. This is ****** up. Get the power on now. This isn’t a ******* rolling blackout period. I bet the rich neighborhood has had no interruptions. We have been without since 8pm last night. I want a free month and what about the food I just bought.

@Kris_C_ @oncor Garland Power & Light system did the same at 2 am. Then i use the texting option. Got a generic canned response at 3:51 am. Same response when i tried this morning. Power back on after eight (8) hours.

Would love to see a map of the areas dealing with outages. The “rolling outages” do not seem to be evenly distributed. I know too many who have not lost power once yet other neighborhoods have for hours on multiple occasions. Why? @oncor

@oncor All, two things: 1-Texas shuts down power plants in the winter since we use less electricity. They take a long time to switch back on. 2- over 50% of our wind turbines are frozen and will not work. This is what is causing power shortages.

@oncor We have been out of power sense 2:30am in for West Fort Worth its 11:51. We cannot even call to report it because your volume of calls, so that being said when can people like neighbors and myself expect even rolling outages??

According to @oncor we where supposed to have a rolling blackout because of power demand 7 degrees outside and we have been without power since 3am. They hit residence but the shopping malls and plazas where power is consumed 24/7 can continue.

@Unanimous84 @oncor That’s what I’m saying. Power being out this long is just going to cause way more energy use when all these houses try to heat back up even to a low end on the thermostat. And then what? Power cuts right back off before the houses can warm back up?

@DFWStormForce @oncor Oh yeah? What am I supposed to do in a condo? Have a cord of wood delivered to the parking lot? Hook up a generator down on the ground floor? Build the worlds largest battery? Oh yeah, most condos in the Dow area do t have gas and many dont have fireplaces.
