Louie needs a foster or adopter.
Rescue has been asked to take in Louie and find him a new home. Neutered male Berne doodle, Louie is almost 2 years old. About 60 pounds.
Louie had a tuff with a female that had puppies, the mom dog jumped on his fence, and it came down, the mom dog attack Louie, as she was in protective mode, even though Louie was not after the puppies. Louie left to small marks on her protecting himself, they were not vet worthy. Louie did nothing wrong, yet rather then anymore problems Louie needs a new home. Sad for Louie. As Berne doodles are not normally problems with other dogs. He is good with kids, housetrained, kennel trained.

Fees range between $150-$500. An adoption application, followed by a check of references, such as Veterinarian, and a home check and or pictures. After which the board will go over all the information and decide what is the best for the animal.

At present we are a foster based rescue. People are welcome to come meet our animals in their foster homes by appointment. In the future we will have adoption events in our areas.

The founders of the multi state rescue have over 80 years of experience in rescue. We saw the need to use our experience to help and we formed Journey Home. Our love and passion for helping neglected, injured, abandoned, homeless animals is our utmost priority. Educating the communities on the need for spayed, neuter, and vaccines and training as needed. We rely on donations, and fundraisers and grants to help sustain the rescue.
